Before I got involved in the theatre group that eventually led to the creation of Chainsaw Sally, I never in a million years would have expected to be involved in the film world. I'm an artist by trade and always have been. I've also had a lifelong love of performing art -- mostly dance -- but never took it past the occasional dance troupe or community theatre show. So... in that respect, it's pretty surprising.

However, once Sally was born and, moreso, got a fanbase that kept asking when we were going to make a movie about her... the evolution from web hostess to movie slasher was obvious and natural. Or... as natural as it gets with a cannibalistic librarian-by-day that dons boas and thigh highs and copious amounts of weaponry to rid the world of undesirables.
